Impinj Move Complete
I was introduced to the guys at Impinj by an old friend from Cisco. From the moment I met the team there, I knew it would be a good fit both for technology and culture. CNS was engaged to do some network troubleshooting and remediation, Meraki MX VPN, as well as some Cisco Catalyst switches and the projects were successful.
However, they were in the process of planning a big office move to a brand new building in Seattle. This meant a new phone system, a new network, and new connectivity to their data center. In the end, Impinj went for a Cisco end to end solution for voice, video, instant messaging, with a complete Jabber deployment on a variety of platforms with Cisco Unified Workspace Licensing and the Business Edition 6000.
As you can see from the pictures above, their conference rooms are the crown jewel. Just about all the rooms are based on the Cisco SX20 and Touch 10. There's a nice dongle ring attached to the single HDMI cable. McKinstry was brought in to do all the room wiring and TV mounting and everything is looking good.
Every room has a voice and video bridge which is reachable via DID and SIP URI. Anyone can dial into the room or the room bridge from anywhere. It's a simple easy to use solution that's turned a lot of heads.
CNS also provided a building wide wireless network based on the Meraki MR platform as well as a 10G campus core based on the Catalyst 4500X with stacks of Catalyst 2960X switches in the closests.
I am very proud of the work and I look forward to a great future with Impinj.
